Accessible

Access tourism is growing in recognition and importance in New Zealand. People with disabilities currently make up 17% of the population. A similar percentage is reflected in our major overseas tourism markets. This is set to grow markedly with the aging Baby Boomer population worldwide.

The Department of Conservation has excellent brochures and information on easy walks around the country.
