Local Farmers Markets are a big hit – and it’s much more than buying fresh produce - the whole community comes together, chatting, drinking coffee, meeting friends and welcoming visitors. This is a great Kiwi experience – most markets are al fresco and have wonderful local musicians playing everything from Latin American music to Country & Western and Jazz. Free concerts in the park are also a unique feature of Kiwi life. Bring a picnic and enjoy the atmosphere.
