Another highlight here is the Big Picture Wine tasting adventure, a virtual wine tour of the region, its wines, winemakers and wineries. Enjoy an interactive tasting of the regions quality wines, under one roof and in the comfort of a beautifully constructed state of the art theatre. The Wine Tasting Experience is run every hour between 11am -5pm daily.

Ride on the beautifully restored 1920s heritage trams which run in a 15-minute clockwise circuit along Jellicoe, Halsey, Gaunt and Daldy streets.

Wynyard Crossing is a pedestrian and cycle bridge which provides a key link between Te Wero island in the Viaduct Harbour and Wynyard Quarter. The bridge is raised when necessary to accommodate passing boats.

For the kids there is 'Playspace' - Fun for the kids in the maritime themed playspace. Designed to reflect the reclamation of an 'old seafloor' with elements such as sand, shells and bed rock. Reused and salvaged materials have been used where ever possible. Even the court space is a former building foundation slab.
