Olive grove and sea views overlooking the Hauraki Gulf and Auckland city are enriched by an extensive art collection, featuring sculpture and paintings by leading New Zealand artists.
Our winemaking philosophy is to respect the unique characteristics of the individual vineyard sites. We employ traditional winemaking techniques such as hand harvesting, whole bunch pressing, hand plunged red fermentations and barrel aging and the vineyards have been designed and developed to incorporate leading edge viticultural practices.
The Wine Bar at Cable Bay is already one of the most consistently awarded bars in Auckland.
The Cable Bay restaurant has now been open for just over 4 years and is making its mark on the New Zealand hospitality scene.
Cable Bay Hours:
Cellar door open 7-days 11am – 5pm
Restaurant and The Wine Bar Lunch 7-days from 12noon, Dinner Thursday - Saturday from 6pm
The Tasting Room is open from 11am to 5pm, 7 days a week. Tastings cost $8 for 6 wines.
